Thomas Glasson

FOUNDER

For Thomas, it all started with a hangover...

It was late 2019, peak football season and as a Citadel cadet, Thomas didn’t get much time off. One rare night out of uniform, he and his buddies went out and cut loose. The next morning, nothing touched his hangover—breakfast, pain relievers, water, nothing! Desperate, he called his mom for advice. In that moment, Thomas heard a quote he would never forget...

“The best way to detox is to retox!

Drink a Bloody Mary!"

He hated tomatoes, even ketchup, but she insisted her recipe was different. Luckily, he had all of the ingredients needed, so he followed her directions and mixed one. Then another. And another! Four bloodys later, he was back!

 

Best. Mom. Ever.

Fast forward to quarantine. One day, during a board game with his cousins, Thomas started thinking about launching a company. Right then, his mom set a Bloody Mary in front of him —

her original recipe, made the right way.

He took it as a sign. With her permission, he took her recipe, built a logo, sold his truck, and poured everything he had into starting the business.

 

Fast forward to today, Glasson's is in nearly 100 restaurant and retail locations across the Lowcountry and is continuing to grow every day!
